As a Farouk Systems emerging star, Portillo is a triple threat with up-do styling, creative color, and barbering expertise. Every time she takes the stage, Portillo inspires audiences with her creative skills, artistic vision and passion for education.
Bringing almost two decades of experience to the industry, Farouk Systems Creative Artist Portillo believes in paying it forward to future hairdressers. Her passion for beauty and confidence building inspired her to begin her path as a mentor for young stylists seeking career guidance and technical development. She is truly dedicated to their individual and professional growth.
Jessica’s strong commitment to her purpose resulted in a mega expansion of her business venture, Salon 210 as well as her Academy of Hairdressing. Today, Jessica is the owner of a top salon and CHI partnered school in Fairfield County, Connecticut where she enjoys the fulfillment of creating beauty and helping bilingual students follow their dreams.
